Keeping Fit Raised £100 - 4th March 1977

4.3.1977 Instow keep fit

When members of Instow and Greenpark FC wanted to renew their football kit, they decided on a joint money-raising and keep-fit exercised.
Organissed by club trainer, Tim Cotter, they took part in a sponsored relay around their pitch. Between them they covered 500 laps - nearly 97 miles - and raised over £100.
One runner alone completed 61 laps or nearly 12 miles.
